The second part of the workshop will review and build upon what we learned in the our session.  This time we’ll focus a bit more on technical details (like video setups) and video mapping sessions. We’ll have some guest artists showing and sharing their techniques. Together, we’ll work on an extensive list of new tools and super tips to create content and manipulate it in realtime. With this work, you’ll definitely improve your VJ sessions!

Don’t be scared if you don’t have previous VJing experience; the workshop is accessible to all levels. We have designed it for students (visual art, design, photography) and audiovisual artists who are interested in gaining practical VJing audiovisual language experiences. The workshop aims to provide „technical knowledge” of the dynamics of spontaneous creation, with techniques and tools that enable fluid and collaborative work amongst participants. Over the course of the two days, participants will be exposed to vaious software used in live audiovisual performance such as Modul8, MadMapper and others.

Additionally, attendees are encouraged to bring ideas for mixed media presentations utilizing cameras, still images, movement, web cameras, and any digital/analog techniques that will contribute to their project. We’ll divided our time between practical modules with specific exercises and conclude by creating an individual or joint performance.

Take a look some pictures from our last workshop! We look forward to creating with you.
